McCarthy Retail Financial Services, LLC, which does business as Micro Loans NW, was founded in late 2010 to address financial restrictions facing many small businesses in our community, and to serve the growing ranks of consumers and businesses without strong banking relationships.

In recent years, the banking industry has become less welcoming to startups and other small businesses which lack strong credit histories, strong profits, or long histories of profits. Many consumers and businesses have ended or limited their banking relationships for a number of reasons like higher account fees, inconvenience, check holds, and customer service difficulties. Our goal is to help small businesses start and grow, and to provide consumers and businesses with a convenient, reasonably priced, non-bank alternative.

Small businesses and consumers in our community deserve to have financial services provided to them at a very high service level, and our friendly and experienced employees are very well prepared to do so. Our four Micro Loans NW locations provide micro business loans, check cashing, money orders, Western Union money transfer services, and prepaid services.
